Cops Stop Mixed Race Marriage

Phnom Penh: A weddings has been stopped because of a lack of legal permits.

A Chinese man was prevented from getting hitched to a Cambodian bride on 1 March 2019.

The case was investigated by immigration police, who interviewed Chinese ZENG YOUXI, a 49-year-old male living inChom Chao commune, Posen Senchey district, Phnom Penh. The Cambodian, Horn Lina, 26, had not sought permission for the wedding.

Cops informed the Chinese groom that he must get the correct paperwork from authorities if he is to marry and made him sign a different form of contract.
