Woman Drives Chevy Into The Divvy

Phnom Penh: A woman driver, who appeared to not be very confident behind the wheel, smashed a luxury car into a concrete divider.

The incident happened at 9 pm on January 26, 2021 in front of the entrance of Phnom Penh International Airport along the Boulevard of the Russian Federation in Kbal Damrey 2 Village, Sangkat Kakap II, Khan Por Sen Chey.  

According to sources at the scene, before the incident, a woman was seen driving a white Chevrolet Trailblazer LTZ with license plate Phnom Penh 2AJ 3399 along Russian Federation from east to west in (what was described as) a state of uneasiness. She swerved to avoid a motorcycle and hit the concrete divider causing damage to the car, but luckily, no one was injured. 

After the incident, the driver escaped from the scene, leaving the car behind. The authorities measured and stored the vehicle at the Office of Traffic, Phnom Penh, waiting for legal action. NKD

EDIT: POST NEWS later reported the driver was seriously injured, and passenger(s) were treated for minor injuries.
