Chinese Woman Jumps From Phnom Penh Hotel

Phnom Penh: A Chinese woman jumped from a hotel, injuring her head and breaking one of her legs. She was taken to a public hospital at 11:50 pm on February 16, 2021 from the Jingkang Hotel, located along Russian Federation, in front of Phnom Penh International Airport, Kbal Damrey II Village, Sangkat Kakap II, Khan Por Senchey, Phnom Penh.

According to a security guard at a Honda shop next to the hotel, he saw the Chinese fall on the fence of between the hotel and his workplace which he was guarding. The victim was seriously injured, and other Chinese people rushed out. A Khmer Chinese translator arrived and called an ambulance.

According to police sources, it was confirmed that the victim fell from the second floor and the police questioned a Chinese woman who had just come to stay at the Jingkang Hotel above. It was reported that the woman has a mental disorder, according to a Chinese national who was staying at a hotel with her. The victim’s family, speaking on the phone, said that her father had sent for her to come back to her hometown in China a long time ago.

The police confirmed that the Chinese woman was seriously injured, the police went to interrogate her, but she was too seriously hurt and unable to clarify the information to the authorities at this time. POST NEWS
