Prius Driver Runs After Rainy Divider Crash

Phnom Penh: A Toyota Prius was driven at high speed in the heavy rain, when it lost control and smashed into a central divider.

The accident happened at 1:30 AM on February 9, 2021 at the Ktan Pei traffic light along Russian Federation Boulevard in Srah Chak, Daun Penh, Phnom Penh.

According to sources at the scene, prior to the incident, a silver Prius car with license plate Phnom Penh 2BH-6940 was seen driving along Russian Federation from east to west at high speed. It was raining, and when he reached the scene, he swerved to the left and hit the divider, breaking two wheels, and smashing the front left side of the car. The driver of the car immediately opened the door and fled the scene.

After the incident, the local police arrived and contacted the traffic police to take the vehicle to the Land Traffic Office of the Phnom Penh Municipal Police to wait for a legal settlement. NKD
