Rattanakiri Boy Bitten by Bear
Ratanakkiri: A young man walking in a wildlife sanctuary with his father was bitten by a bear.
He suffered injuries from the incident, which happened at 2:00 pm on November 6, 2018 in the forest of Tampuon and Thmor Te village, Taveng Krom commune, Taveng district, Rattanak Kiri province.
According to local police chief, 16-year-old Noy Srey Iy, was bitten on the leg by the bear was because he went into the jungle with his father to see the hostel, and disturbed the animal.
The father took son home and reported the incident to district authorities.
The victim, was taken to Tavieng Health Center.
