Phnom Penh: A garbage truck caused serious damage at  7 pm on October 26, 2018, on street 2004, Sen Sok District.

According to a source from the scene, before the incident, the driver of garbage truck reversed after missing some rubbish, but didn’t look where he was going, and maybe got confused about which pedal was for ‘go’ and which was for ‘stop’.

Instead the truck took out a tuk-tuk, a mobile food cart before slamming backwards into a shop selling electronics.

The police have seized all vehicles involved and are working for a legal settlement.
