Don’t believe everything you read. The paper says “staying at the walkabout” ?? it’s been closed a couple of years. Ive met King Kong many times. Never once did I see anything to indicate any signs of drug dealing. If he was a low level drug dealer as depicted surely it would have come up. I very much doubt he was a drug dealer – larrikin and colourful character yes…. drug dealer – no

Where does it say he was staying at the Walkabout?

    You will be missed.

    To you other people:
I heard his father died of heart attack at the age of 55, and that King Kong was certain of a similar ending.
A drug dealer is a drug dealer. But a convicted drug dealer is only that: convicted of it.
Truth is, I have never known Alan to deal anything stronger than a pair of fists.
