Bridges Between: Celebrating 35 Years of SISF
In 2024, we’re rolling out the red carpet for our 35th anniversary of the Scottish International Storytelling Festival (SISF). It just so happens to coincide with another big event: the 35th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall! Since 1989, SISF has been knocking down walls — figuratively, of course — by connecting cultures, artists, and audiences from every corner of the globe through the power of a good story.
This year’s theme is ‘Bridges Between’. In a world where walls (real and metaphorical) seem to keep popping up, we’re here to say, “Let’s build bridges instead!” So, join us as we celebrate 35 years of tales gone by and the next 35 years of stories yet to be told.
