UPDATES: MyTV Host Released On Bail- Accusations Continue

Phnom Penh: On the morning of May 13, 2021, the Investigating Judge of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court decided to release Miss Mean Pich Rita, a presenter at My TV and former Miss Grand Cambodia contestant, on bail at the request of Samdech Techo Volunteer Lawyers led by Mr. Ky Tech.

Mean Pich Rita, also known as Yubi, 20, was remanded in custody on May 11, 2021 on charges of aggravated theft after a complaint was filed by Oknha Heng Sear on May 10, 2021.

However, after the court’s decision, a group of Samdech Techo’s volunteer lawyers, led by Mr. Kitech, applied for bail. KBN

The young woman yesterday filed a counter-complaint, accusing the businessman of attempted rape. At first she denied using a knife, but later video was released which appeared to show her leaving a car with a blade in her hand.

Oknha Heng Sear required 18 stitches to wounds on his abdomen.

In another twist, many media sites such as NKD have reported that a website called (GN times) wrote that after the incident, the injured Heng Sear drove his car and hit a car driven by a woman which was badly damaged. He promised to pay damages but later refused to pay.

It was reported that after the fight with Miss Mean Pich Rita in the car, Duke Heng Sear drove to the hospital and suddenly collided with a woman’s Land Cruiser, causing severe damage, which he agreed to pay for. The damage was complete, but when the car was completed, more than $ 3,000, the duke agreed to pay only $ 500. 

The woman said that Heng Sear drove a Kia car with license plate Phnom Penh-1AC-7258 and hit her daughter’s car, a Land Cruiser with license plate Phnom Penh 2AW-8687, causing severe damage. The tycoon got out of the car with blood pouring from his stomach and came to talk, saying that it was okay, help him go to the hospital first, and wait for him to settle the compensation.

In this relationship, as a prostitute, I have met UB three times and often met at a guesthouse for $ 200 to $ 300, (after) telegram communication. In the relationship between me and Yubi, she was not my girlfriend, but (we had sex) for money.  I donated $ 1,500 to her when she needed money to pay for school.

On May 4, 2021, at about 2:12 AM, I drove a silver KIA car with license plate Phnom Penh 2AC-7258 out of my house in order to go to Seng Sreng Hong Import Export Co., Ltd. Suddenly, while traveling on the road, Yubi messaged my phone to meet around the Asia Europe School, Sangkat Toek Laok II, Khan Toul Kork. When I arrived, I met her and she got in the car with me as I was the driver, she sat behind
me and let me drive.

While driving, she asked me to use ABA to transfer $ 30 into her account, but I thought it was too little, so she added $ 50 more. At that time, she may have seen my password. He stated in the letter: “On the day of the incident, Miss Mean Pich Rita contacted me after she demanded too much money to break the bond, which made me unable to fulfill her wishes. And I did not expect that she had a knife to stab me” KBN

UPDATE: Oknha Heng Sear on May 13, 2021 filed an application for extension of time to appear before the Phnom Penh Municipal Court regarding the complaint of Miss Mean Pich Rita, who filed a complaint for attempted rape.

In a letter requesting an adjournment to the President of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court, Oknha Heng Sear claimed that the reason for his request for an adjournment was that he was receiving emergency treatment at a hospital and promised to comment when his condition improved.

The letter requesting the extension of time has already been submitted to the Phnom Penh Municipal Court through the seal of the Phnom Penh Municipal Court on this letter. However, it is not yet clear whether permission will be granted or not.
