UPDATE: According to KOHSANTEPHEAP, the military items belonged to the man’s late father. He said that after his father died, he did not hand over the explosives and military equipment to the authorities, and kept them hidden in the house quietly.

Regarding the arrest, according to police, it is true that the suspect hid these weapons, but they had not been used for, or led to, committing crimes. Villagers accidentally found the military equipment hidden in the house and reported it to the military police to inspect and confiscate.

According to the suspect, he kept the military equipment, which was the legacy of his father, who was a former military officer, but he is dead. He never used these weapons or military uniforms, but kept them because he wanted to sell them for money in the future.

The Provincial Gendarmerie Commander has now ordered officers to interrogate the suspect to build a case. The munitions will be handed over to some CMAC officials to destroy.
