COVID Numbers Climb With 841 News Cases

 

Phnom Penh: The MoH issued the daily press release on the morning of 3 May 2021, confirming the discovery of 841 new positive cases of COVID-19 and 61 cases that were treated and the patients discharged.

Of the new cases, all were linked to what is known as the Feb. 20 community outbreak, now 14,808 (sources vary slightly).

Phnom Penh: 525, Banteay Meanchey: 153 cases,  Preah Sihanouk Province: 62, Kandal Province: 33, Kampong Cham Province: 21, Kampong Thom: 15, Takeo: 9, Siem Reap: 7 cases, Kampong Speu: 6 and Prey Veng Province has 1 new case. 

This brings the total number of cases to 15,362, with 5,430 cases treated. There are currently 9,818 active cases and 106 deaths have been reported.

A new informative table has now been released, showing cases in each province.
