Youths Break Out Of Rehab & Head For Roof
Phnom Penh: Two youths escaped from a drug rehabilitation center on Street 58P, Dey Thmey Village, Sangkat Kork Khleang, Khan Sen Sok, and climbed onto a nearby roof on the afternoon of March 15 2021. The two young men did have not been identified.
A source from the Kork Khleang police station said that the two young men were taken by their guardians to the DTA drug rehabilitation center.
On the day of the incident, the parents came to the center to bring the youths home, but suddenly they both jumped over the fence and ran. Leaving the center, they scaled up to the roof of a house to the surprise of people on the street.
The local authorities went intervene as well, but they both refused to come down, despite the efforts of the authorities and security at the center. For nearly 3 hours their guardians pled for them to come of the roof and talk. *It’s not clear whether they did or not. RASMEI
