Teen Dies After Being Shot In Head

Phnom Penh: A fatal shooting incident occurred at 5:30 pm on March 6, 2021 in a field near the village of Lech Wat, Sangkat Kampol, Khan Kampoul, Phnom Penh.

The victim, 14-year-old Saroeun Buntha, was an eighth-grade student at Bek Chan Secondary School. He was shot in the head and died suddenly. Two suspects were arrested, but have not been identified yet.

According to sources, before the incident, the victim was playing with three other children at the scene. Suddenly, a gunshot was heard nearby, causing the boy to fall. Three more bullets flew over head and fell at the scene, but no other boys were harmed.
