Mass Fainting At Siem Reap School
Colonel Tep Channa, Sotnikum District Police Inspector, said that in about 73 (*EDIT: Other sources say 49) Samrong High School students cried and fainted without knowing the reason.
The fainting happened on the morning of March 6, 2021 on the campus of Samrong High School, Sot Nikum District, Siem Reap Province.
Police and teachers transported the students to Sotnikum District Referral Hospital and Samrong Commune Health Center.
He added that according to the teachers and the examination of the medical team, none of the students had any chronic pain, and according to the cries of the students it seems to be superstitious/psychosomatic.
