Security Guard Drives Customer’s Camry Into Noodle Shop
Phnom Penh: A security guard working at a restaurant went to park a customer’s car, but ended up driving into the resaturant.
This incident happened at 11 pm on February 11, 2021, along the corner of Street 598 and Street 1986, Sangkat Phnom Penh Thmey, Khan Sen Sok, Phnom Penh.
A Camry with license plate Phnom Penh 2R-9169 was damaged.
According to sources at the scene, before the incident, they saw the car parked in front of the restaurant, and some men walked into the restaurant.
A security guard then took the car to park it, but seems to have ben confused between the pedals and sent the Camry flying into the building. The door of the shop was shattered, glass was scattered all over and tables and chairs were damaged. Two Honda Dream motorbikes parked in the shop were hit, causing further damage, but the incident did not injure anyone.
After the incident, the security guard who drove the car escaped from the scene and a representative of the restaurant came out to deal with the victim. The restaurant owner and the car owner were acquaintances, so they settled the matter without disturbing the authorities.
