Timber Transporter Killed In Keo Seima

Mondulkiri province: A young man transporting timber on a motorbike fell and died. The incident occurred when a motorbike transporting timber of a large type of timber (*presumably illegally) crashed into a cashew tree and the lumber fell on top of the rider’s head, causing the sudden death at the scene.

The accident happened on February 9, 2021 at Orna village, Sre Khtom commune, Keo Seima district, Mondulkiri province. Sources from the Keo Seima District Police said that the victim was named Suth Set, a 19-year-old male living in Orna Village, Sre Khtom Commune, Keo Seima District, Mondulkiri Province. After the incident, the authorities inspected the scene and handed over the body to the family to take to the traditional ceremony. MCPN
