Big Buried Bomb Brought Up On Battambang Building Site

Battambang: Workers at a construction site on the morning of February 10, 2021, uncovered an MK82 bomb while clearing landin Battambang City.

After receiving the information, Mr. Pheng Sethy, Battambang Mayor, inspected and reported to CMAC officials. The area has now been sealed off to await a professional removal at an appropriate time.

CMAC officials confirmed that the bomb was a US made MK82 weighing about 500 pounds (226 kg).
