New COVID Cases From Nigeria & Thailand

Phnom Penh: The Ministry of Health issued the daily press release on February 10, confirming two new confirmed cases of COVID-19 detected on Tuesday.

The cases are from Thailand and Nigeria:

A 40-year-old Cambodian female, living in Siem Reap Province, returned from Thailand on January 27. This was her second test.

A 26-year-old Nigerian male transferred from Nigeria via South Korea and arrived in Cambodia on February 8. He is being treated at th Soviet Friendship Hospital. 40 passengers on the same plane tested negative, and they were isolated in isolation hotels.

A total of 88 migrant workers have been diagnosed after returning from Thailand, with 83 of them treated and discharged.

As of the morning of February 10, Cambodia has confirmed a total of 478 cases, treated 457 cases, with 21 cases currently in hospital.
