No New COVID-19 Cases For 8th Consecutive Day

Phnom Penh: The Ministry of Health issued the daily notice on August 22 announcing that there were no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Cambodia yesterday, and 4 more patients have been successfully treated.

The patients were all Cambodians and returned to Cambodia from the United States and Russia.

As of the morning of August 22, Cambodia had confirmed a total of 273 cases, with 263 recoveries. There are 10 active cases still being treated, Since August 14, Cambodia has had no new confirmed cases for 8 consecutive days.

86,606 tests have been processed since the outbreak began.
