Casinos To Close On April 1

Phnom Penh: It has been announced that Cambodia will implement the closure of all casinos starting on April 1.

This is part of the prevention of the spread of COVID-19, and only a temporary shutdown.

Shops and markets are still open, with a further announcement due on Friday. KOHSANTEPHEAP

  1. So Casinos are not “entertainment” venues, which is why they weren’t required to close along with KTVs etc?

  2. unfortunately, this is same for most casinos across the world. and i don’t think the current pandemic is just affecting casino industries, but lot of others. if it’s for the best and safety, better that way.
