PHNOM PENH– A Vietnamese woman was found dead at 11:35 am on December 14, 2019 in Sangkat Tonle Basac, Khan Chamkar Morn, Phnom Penh.
The victim was named as Nguyen Thi Minh Hanh, a 26-year-old who was staying at De Brid Hotel (*The Bridge Club?).
Following the incident, a doctor at the Phnom Penh Municipal Court, concluded that the victim had died of heart failure following a methamphetamine overdose.
Another source says that the woman had been in Cambodia for 3 days and was feeling unwell. Instead of going to the hospital, she asked friends to drive her to Wat Chamkamon, but was already dead, and was left in the pagoda by her friends.
The body was taken to Stung Meanchey pagoda.
