Two Thais Caught Smuggling 8 Kilos Of Meth

Oddar Meanchey: On December 10, 2019, at 15:10, the Special Task Force of the Anti-Narcotics Division (A9) launched a crackdown on cross-border drug trafficking cases from Thailand to Cambodia (via the O’Smach border crossing).

A 33 year old Thai man from Surin Province, Thailand, and another Thia named as Nath Thaphun, 42, also from Surin province were caught with 8 large packages of methamphetamine (*in the standard tea packaging), weighing 7,979.56 grams. The pair were driving a Thai plated Isuzu.

They have been turned over to Oddar Meanchey provincial police for further proceedings in court.
