Choppy Seas Warning + Boat Washes Up On KRS

Preah Sihanouk Province: As of noon on December 8, 2019, there were strong waves and high waves at sea.

In such weather, the tourism police and the water traffic police, as well as the maritime authorities; the Royal Navy, the Border Police, and the headquarter of the National Committee for Maritime Security, continue to issue warning notifications to boat owners and operators to be cautious.

There are strong winds and high waves around the islands too, so tourists are asked to be careful when swimming or going out to sea on small vessels.

A shipwreck also is reported to have washed up on Koh Rong Samloem beach this morning.
