Fire In Ochheuteal Hostel

Sihanoukville – There was a fire at Spicy Society backpacker hostel near Ochheuteal, in Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville at 4:30 am on December 6, 2019.

According to the authorities, it is reported that six adjoining 3 by 4 meter wooden bungalows were destroyed. No casualties were reported and authorities are still investigating the cause.

(*Photos seem to show that the site has closed, but they appear to be still taking bookings online. Whether they have moved to a new site is unknown).
