Turk Over Stays After Thailand Refuses Entry

Phnom Penh: On December 2, 2019, at 1:30 pm, a foreigner, ALTINBAS EMIN, a 57-year-old Turkish national went to the Bureau of Investigation and Immigration Planning Office Phnom Penh asking authorities to help him return home because he was unable to renew his visa.

This person twice arrived in the Kingdom of Cambodia, first on 29.10.2019 via the Poipet International Checkpoint. On 20.11-2019 he returned to Thailand at the Poipet International Corridor, but with no money, he was refused entry and sent back to Cambodia.

He currently has no place to stay and was sent to the detention center.
