Ton Of Thai Pork Products Taken Off Rith Mony Bus

Banteay Meanchey: Authorities stopped a Rith Mony company bus and found more than one ton of pork products smuggled from Thailand into Cambodia.
Police said on December 1, 2019, that Anti-economic police forces of Banteay Meanchey intercepted the Rith Mony passenger bus, Battambang 3A-badge 0244, at the bus stop in Serey Sophorn, Banteay Meanchey Province.

 On board were 16 cases of pig meat and offal – a total of 1,094 kilograms.

The boxes were taken away for destruction, and the bus driver was sent to the police headquarters for further proceedings on Sunday afternoon. NKD
