Baby Abandoned At Pagoda

Phnom Penh: A group who came to visit a pagoda found a baby aged around a month old lying on the floor. The incident took place at 9:30 am on December 1 , 2019 at a wat in Sangkat Veal Vong, Khan 7 Makara, Phnom Penh.

According to the woman who found the infant, seven vehicles were traveling from Kampong Cham to visit the pagoda. When she went to the toilet, she heard a baby crying and found it close by on the floor.

Local law enforcement were informed and  ABC radio came to take the baby for medical care. Police are now searching for the mother. TDN
