Two Riders Escape Serious Injury In Truck Accident

Phnom Penh: A truck carrying a heavy container load over New Monivong Bridge crashed and slammed into two motorcycles at 2 am On November 29, 2019 in Chak Angre Lei commune, Meanchey district, Phnom Penh.

According to a source from the scene, the truck, Phnom Penh 3B-1809 license plate was crossing Monivong Bridge when it jackknifed causing the two motorcycles coming in the opposite direction to smash into it. The driver then ran away.

Ly Sokha, a 39 year old chef and another unidentified man were lucky to escape without serious injury.

In the aftermath of the incident, traffic police took the truck and motorcycle away to wait for all parties to resolve the dispute later.
