Okhna Saves Russian Sailors Off Koh Rong

Preah Sihanouk Province – On the morning of 28 November Oknha Tea Vichet and his team aboard the tycoon’s boat set off on high speed to rescue two Russian sailors stranded in the sea off Koh Rong.

The Russians were sailing a small catamaran into choppy seas (which are common in this season) when they capsized.

The rescue operation was successful, and the man and woman were safely brought back to the mainland.

*Tea Vichet is the son of navy commander Tea Vinh and nephew of Defence Minister Tea Banh. He is often in the news for his actions around Preah Sinahouk province, such as assisting in emergencies at sea and protecting and releasing endangered marine life.
