Life Sentence For Meanchey Moto Dop Murderer
Phnom Penh: On November 26, 2019, the Phnom Penh Municipal Court sentence a man named Son Thong Thy to serve life in prison for the murder of a moto dop driver in Steung Meanchey last January.
During the course of the trial, the accused pleaded guilty to the charges.
On January 27, 2019, the accused stabbed Yann Choeunvann, in Chanthou guesthouse, Russey 2 village, Steung Meanchey 3, Khan Mean Chey and stole the victim’s motorcycle.
He was later caught in Battambang province trying to cross the border into Thailand. AREY NEWS
