Phnom Penh Water Price Revisions 2020

Phnom Penh: From January 1, 2020, the price of Phnom Penh Water Supply will be revised, with less water consumption bringing lower costs.

According to the decision of the Ministry of Industry and Handicrafts, the price of water will discounted for the customers who use no more than 25 cubic meters per month from 760 riel to 400 riel per cubic meter.

Users who take more than 25 cubic meters per month will have to pay a premium rate depending on usage shown below. SWIFT

*These measures come as emergency plans are being put into place as the country faces an imminent drought. Water saving advice is being given in the media, and farmers are told not to grow a second rice crop, even if they live close to a good source of water.
