172 Arrested Thai Casino Workers Sent Back

Banteay Meanchey: The Immigration Department announced that the Poipet International Police Station at 3:30 pm on November 21, 2019, handed over 172 Thai nationals to the authorities in Sa Kaeo province, Thailand.

172 Thais, including 112 women, were arrested on November 19 in online casinos in Kbal Spean Village, Sangkat Poipet, Poipet City, Banteay Meanchey Province.

After being sent for questioning in Siem Reap, they were sent by bus across the border to Aranyaprathet.
