Phnom Penh Raid Nabs 15 Chinese And Vietnamese

Phnom Penh: Police at the Immigration Department detained 15 Chinese and Vietnamese nationals in a hotel (*initial reporting from the scene yesterday said a condo building).

The arrests were made on the afternoon of November 18, 2019, at the on Street 278, Village 4, Olympic Market, Boeung Keng Kang, Phnom Penh.

A total of 15 Chinese and Vietnamese nationals were found and arrested. Two Vietnamese women who are accused of illegally crossing the border to stay and work in the Kingdom were referred to the Immigration Department for questioning and enforcement. It is not clear why the Chinese nationals were detained. TDN
