Phnom Penh: Daun Penh District police detained a foreign male on November 19, 2019, at 12:00 pm.
He was reportedly caught flying a drone near the Royal Palace.
The suspect, identified as TAYLOR DEAN LEWIS, a 28 year old American from Utah, is staying at the Sofitel Hotel.
His drone equipment was taken by police, and he is waiting for the Anti-Crime Technological Department to come to interview him.
Earlier this month two British tourists were also detained for flying a drone in the area, which is strictly not allowed.
