PHNOM PENH: Her Royal Highness Norodom Bopha Devi, daughter of late king Sihanouk, has passed away from natural causes, according to a report from the Royal Du Cambodge on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 12:30 in a Bangkok hospital.
Princess Norodom Bopha Devi was born on January 8, 1943 in Phnom Penh, and was the eldest daughter of His Majesty King Norodom Sihanouk, becoming the principal dancer of the Royal Ballet at 18. She continued to be an ambassador for Cambodian ballet and a patron of the arts.
Between 30 November 1998 – 15 July 2004, she was Minister of Culture and Fine Arts.
She leaves behind 5 children.
