Crane Remains Stuck On Sihanoukville Building

Sihanoukville: An attempt to remove a collapsed crane from an 11-storey building In Village 2, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville, was unsuccessful on November 17, 2019.

The collapse occurred around 11:20 am on November 16.

Part of the crane was removed, leaving only the top section stuck on the building. This poses no danger to people.

Authorities decided to suspend the construction on the site completely, cordoned off the area, evacuated workers and advised people living nearby on the situation.

A working group is now discussing how best to remove the rest of the crane safely. KBN
