Armed Raid On Chinese Kidnappers

Preah Sihanouk Provincial Gendarmerie raided a property where a group of Chinese were holding their own countrymen captive for ransom.

The operation took place on the morning of the 13th of November, 2019, in Group 22, Village 1, Sangkat 1, Sihanoukville, Preah Sihanouk Province.

In the operation, Brigadier Heng Bunty told local media that the operation had detained two Chinese suspects and rescued four Chinese victims who were injured after being tortured by the suspects.

The force also took several pairs of handcuffs used by the suspects. TVFB
