Technology For A Safer Festival
Phnom Penh: Phnom Penh authorities have used more than 200 Smart Security Cameras that can scan known criminals’ faces linked to a database and signal to authorities who can immediately arrest them.
More than 200 cameras have been placed on the streets around the Royal Water Festival, including the Royal Palace, Koh Pich and several other landmarks aimed at detecting suspected suspects who are attempting to steal or cause problems
It should be highlighted that Phnom Penh authorities have also deployed a variety of police forces in important areas to provide security for safety order, traffic congestion, crowd control and protecting property.
