Captured Pythons Released In Kampong Chhnang

 

Kampong Chhnang: 27 pythons were released into the wild in a cooperation between the Forestry Administration and the Gendarmerie.

The snakes were set free in the evening of November 7, 2919 in the Biodiversity Conservation Area, Boeng Commune, Kampong Leaeng District, Kampong Chhnang Province.

The 27 pythons had been collected in Phnom Penh and from wildlife traders, said an official.

Environmental officials have called on citizens not to clear flooded habitats and not to hunt wildlife. RASMEI KAMPUCHEA
