Angkor Wat Crocodile Hunter

Siem Reap: On Friday, November 8, 2019, APSARA Authority and relevant departments have launched a hunt for a 40 cm long baby crocodile reported as having been released in water near Angkor Wat temple three days ago.

After arriving at the site and investigating the case, the Provincial Administrator asked the Apsara Authority to cooperate with the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries to continue the hunt 24 hours a day, especially at night, when the reptile may come out on the banks of the Angkor Wat temple.

Officials will use torches and nets during the night.

The public has been assured that the crocodile currently poses no threat, due to its small size. TDN
