11 Chinese Arrested In Kidnapping Raid

 Phnom Penh: 11 Chinese suspects were detained on charges of kidnapping and extortion after a police raid.

The operation was carried out at 12:30 pm on 8th November, 2019 at the apartment in Borey Princess Town, Kbal Damrey 2 Village, Por Senchey District.

Authorities said that after receiving a complaint from relatives of a Chinese victim over the kidnapping case, the Chinese embassy requested the Ministry of Interior to conduct a search operation this afternoon.

The 11 were arrested and an unknown number of victims were rescued, suffering from physical injuries suspected of being caused by beatings from the gang.

The case was brought to the Ministry of Interior. POST NEWS
