LPG Transfer Blows Up In Kampong Thom

Kompong Thom: On November 7, 2019, at 9:30 am, LPG being transferred from a tanker to a TELA gas station ignited, causing a fire and serious injuries in Soyong Village, Tang Kok, Kampong Thom Province.

The victim, Heang Chanthy, a 38-year-old truck driver from Kampong Cham province was seriously injured, and is being treated at Tang Kok health center.

Initial reports suggest that the wrong equipment was being used to transfer the gas.

Four fire trucks were called to the scene and managed to prevent the fire from spreading nearby properties. POST NEWS
