Phone Snatcher Caught Robbing Irish Woman

Phnom Penh: Boeng Keng Kang 1 police arrested a suspect in Phnom Penh: at 12:45 pm on November 6, 2019, following a robbery of a female Irish tourist.

BKK1 police patrol team cooperated with citizens and detained Bun Sovannara, 25.

The victim JOHANNA GLYNN age 26, an Irish national, had her stolen phone returned.

Authorities confirmed the victim was walking with a friend from Street 282, and reached 57/302 corner, when the suspect riding alone on a motorbike alone snatched her phone. He then tried to escape down 302, when he was stopped by residents and a police patrol.

The suspect was taken to the Boeng Keng Kang I Police Station and then to the Chamkar Morn Police Department to take legal action. He was tested for drugs, but the results were negative. Source- CHSK NEWS
