Newborn Found Dead In Rubbish

 

Phnom Penh: The body of a baby boy was found thrown onto a garbage pile at about 9 pm on November 3, 2019, north of Toul Sangke Pagoda, Toul Sangke Village, Sangkat Toul Sangke I, Russey Keo District.

Sources from the scene, said a resident took the garbage out near the fence of the Wat and found the dead newborn baby wrapped in white cloth in the rubbish.

Local authorities came down and took the baby to be buried in Toul Sangke pagoda. TDN

UPDATE: Later reports suggest the baby was possibly stillborn, and premature. (Unconfirmed)
