Road Accident Figures For October

Phnom Penh: A Traffic Police report shows that in October 2019 there were 294 road accidents nationwide, resulting in 135 deaths and 493 injuries. Compared to September 2019, the number of traffic accidents in October decreased, but the number of injuries increased.

The report said that of the 135 fatalities in October 2019, 100 were motorcycle riders and 76 were not wearing helmets.

In September, a total of 338 road crashes were reported in the country, resulting in 177 deaths and 470 injuries. SWIFT NEWS
