Eleven Chinese VOIP Fraudsters Deported
Phnom Penh: Department of Investigation and Procedure of the Immigration Department on Thursday morning expelled 11 Chinese From the Kingdom of Cambodia.
Lieutenant General Vathanak Mongkol, director of the Investigation and Procedure Department, said that all 11 Chinese nationals, including 1 female had been expelled from the Kingdom in accordance with the Ministry of Interior’s dismissal order dated October 28, 2019 and banned from the country for 3 years in connection with telecommunication fraud scams (VOIP).
The operation also involved the security forces of the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China, who will prosecute the 11 on return to China.
