Cambodian Migrant Workers Killed By Elephant

Thailand:  The body of a Cambodian worker from Prey Veng named as Ath Sok, 29, was found on October 30, 2019 on a plantation in * a Thai reader says Chachoengsao province, Thailand.

Initial sources reported that eight Cambodian workers came to work on the plantation, including two children, and were staying in four huts.

It is reported that the victim may have been killed after a wild elephant attacked the huts.

The victim’s body has now been taken to the Thai hospital for a forensic examination. AMAPAPA

UPDATE: A body of a man and woman were found near the scene the following day, and are also believed to be Cambodian nationals.
