Vietnamese Massage Shops Raided In Meanchey

Phnom Penh: Anti-Human Trafficking Police cracked down on 2 prostitution sites masquerading as massage parlors, detained two people, rescued five workers, and found several condoms.

The operation took place at 4:15 pm on October 28, 2019 at Massage 999, # 582, National Road 2, Meanchey District, Phnom Penh, and Scratch Massage (72)

Authorities said the owners of the two locations above were arrested;

Chanthy, a 46 year old Vietnamese owner of 999 and Vanthyai Hai, a 69-year-old Vietnamese woman, owner of Massage (72).

Police found 5 victims:

A 20-year-old, a 21-year-old, a 22-year-old, a 24-year-old and 26 year old were rescued. All 5 were Vietnamese.

A large number of used and unused condoms were seized.

The two suspects, including five victims and evidence have been sent to the Anti-Human Trafficking and Juvenile Protection Office for further legal action. TVFB
