Rainy Season Not Quite Over

Phnom Penh – The  Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology has issued a weather update.

From today until October 31, 2019, a weather system will start to cover Cambodia, causing rain to fall from moderate to severe levels.

1:  October 28-31: Oddar Meanchey, Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, Pailin, Siem Reap, Kampong Thom, Preah Vihear, Stung Treng, Kratie, Kampong Cham, Tbong Khmum, Ratanakiri and Mondulkiri will all see low to moderate rainfall.

2:  October 25-31: Pursat, Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Speu, Kandal, Takeo, Prey Veng, Svay Rieng, Phnom Penh and coastal provinces will experience moderate rainfall.

The ministry also called on people to be alert for lightning and sudden thunderstorms.
