Japanese Tourist Dies In Sokha Elevator

Siem Reap: A foreigner died on October 24, 2019 at Sokha Siem Reap Hotel.

The victim, identified as KISHIMOTO KOJI , a 71 year old Japanese man, arrived in the Kingdom of Cambodia on October 22, 2019 at the Siem Reap International Airport.

According to the medical team, at about 13:25on October 24, 2019, hotel staff called the hospital to report that a foreigner had collapsed in the hotel’s elevator. Doctors arrived at the scene and found the victim dead. Based on the research of the court’s doctor, the man died of a stroke.

The body was taken to Wat Teuk Thla, Phnom Penh, pending the decision of the family and the embassy. POST NEWS
